Join artist and printmaker Francesco Geronazzo for a full-day, hands-on exploration of traditional and experimental printmaking. This immersive 6-hour workshop is divided into two focused sessions, offering a deep dive into creative, non-toxic printmaking techniques.
Morning session (3 hrs): 9AM - 12PM
Learn how to generate plates using diverse materials such as zinc, polycarbonate, cardboard, and Tetra Pak. Participants will experiment with drypoint, mezzotint, and other classic methods — alongside quick test prints before lunch.
Afternoon session (3 hrs): 1PM - 4PM
Bring your plates to life through proofing, colour exploration, and mono printing, alongside gum printing and other experimental pictorial methods. Discover how to create tonal effects without chemicals, combining drawing and texture for unique, expressive results.
This workshop promotes sustainable, non-toxic printmaking practices — expanding your creative process while keeping the studio safe and sound.
Cost:
· Full day (6 hrs): $100 per person
· Half day (3 hrs): $70 per person
· $13 materials fee
